ELEVATING MILITARY CAPABILITIES
PROGRAM/PROJECT
MANAGEMENT
- Provides program management support to the DoD and DoD Mission Partners.
- Assigns projects to subject matter experts, assessing scope, duration, technical objectives, and deliverables.
- Ensures comprehensive portfolio oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manages deliverables tracking, action items, and resolution of technical and programmatic challenges
RESEARCH AND DESIGN
- Conducts classified and unclassified literature reviews to assess emerging technologies.
- Participates in project assessments to identify trends, shortfalls, and innovations supporting the DoD.
- Designs cutting-edge technologies for military application.
- Identifies ongoing R&D programs across universities, government labs, nonprofits, and businesses.
- Leverages R&D findings to support rapid prototyping and technology transition initiatives for military partners.
TESTING AND TECHNOLOGY DEMONSTRATIONS
- Reviews test plans and coordinates test events.
- Analyzes results to evaluate performance against specifications.
- Identifies deficiencies and provides recommendations for improvements.
- Ensures feedback from the Integrated Product Team (IPT) is incorporated.
- Documents findings and provides after-action reports.
- Recommends enhancements to improve future operations.
LOGISTICS AND TRAINING
- Provides logistics and training support to DEVCOM Soldier Center and ARL.
- Coordinates with the 19th and 20th Special Forces Group for the Soldier Engineer Exchange Demonstration (SEED).
- Facilitates event planning and ensures seamless execution.
- Supports government technology developers in engaging with soldiers.
- Assists in testing and refining emerging technologies in an operational environment.
BASIC AND APPLIED RESEARCH
- Conducts research on fundamental phenomena impacting DoD systems and sensor performance.
- Supports the DoD in designing experiments, collecting data, and analyzing results.
- Documents findings to enhance military capabilities.
- Evaluates current and emerging technologies to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
PROOF OF CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
- Supports capability analysis, engineering, and prototype development.
- Evaluates Technical Data Packages (TDP) and assists in implementing government-approved designs.
- Aids in planning, designing, and analyzing electronic applications for new and modified systems.
- Provides expertise throughout the design, prototyping, and testing phases.
