Counter-UAS, interceptors, UAS platforms, sensors, and autonomy. Engineered and integrated for the Department of Defense.
F4DI is a defense technology designer, product developer, and systems integrator. We architect systems like TR2ICS — our tethered counter-UAS interceptor platform — and integrate sensors, autonomy, and effectors into fielded capability for DoD program offices, service labs, and operational units.
Who we are
F4DI is an SBA HUBZone-certified defense technology company headquartered in Western Maryland. We design, develop, and integrate deployable defense systems — with focused technical depth in counter-UAS, interceptors, UAS platforms, sensors, and autonomy.
What we do
We design counter-UAS kill chains, interceptor air vehicles, and UAS platforms — and the sensors, AI, and autonomy that make them mission-effective. We integrate those subsystems into deployable systems and drive the test, demonstration, and transition work required to put them in warfighters’ hands.
Our customers
F4DI supports DoD program offices, service laboratories — including DEVCOM Soldier Center and the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) — and operational units, including work with the 19th and 20th Special Forces Groups through the Soldier Engineer Exchange Demonstration (SEED). We team with prime contractors on defense-integration efforts and with technology partners such as Corlens on sensor and payload development.
What we build
Our work spans the full counter-UAS kill chain — detection, tracking, decisioning, and defeat — and the platforms and payloads that support it. Flagship system: TR2ICS, a tethered radio-relay and interceptor architecture built to give small units persistent airspace protection against Group 1–3 UAS threats.
